MAGIC MAN
I produced a short film in the spring of 2015 called "Magic Man" for an advanced film class as part at the University of North Texas. As the producer I was in charge of scheduling, location scouting, organizing casting calls, and social media for the film.
The film centers around nostalgia and self-discovery. A woman connects with her father through photography and discovers herself along the way. Check out the official website here.
Magic Man premiered at the University of North Texas in May 2015 and was screened in the Action On Film Festival in Monrovia, California in September 2015.
We were all student filmmakers at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. Each spring, 8 films are produced by students like us in the advanced film class. These films are a culmination of our college careers as filmmakers. For most of us, it was the beginning of our serious work that will drive us out into the real world as independent filmmakers.
